March 10th, 2013 marks the 100th anniversary of the passing of Harriet Tubman. Starting this year and progressing until 2013, many activities, projects and experiences to take in along the byway have and are being created through the collaboration of individuals, agencies and organizations impassioned by individuals like Tubman who made such an impact in their time, and for future generations.

Check back regularly here and on the 2013 Celebration page to keep up to date about the goings on along the byway in honor Tubman.

To get started planning your trip along the byway, check out the “Visit” page on our website. There, you will find the length of the byway, approximate timing of your drive, and directions most suited to your needs. These directions are downloadable, so that you can print and take them with you during your drive.
